10 January 2024 | The Africell Impact Foundation 2023 annual report highlights the extraordinary work done by our colleagues over the past year.

The Foundation focuses on three impact areas: education and entrepreneurship; arts and culture; and health and wellbeing. In each area, Africell uses its specialist expertise and resources to create opportunities for students, artists, athletes, entrepreneurs and others, enabling them to be more successful and creative.

Collaboration was the theme of 2023. As the only US-owned mobile operator in Africa, we bring Africa to the world and the world (including, but not only, the US) to Africa. Many of our initiatives have an international dimension. Capitalising on our pan-African footprint and our connections in other big global markets is both an advantage and a priority.

In 2023 we engaged more individuals, employees and communities than ever before. The Africell Impact Foundation has big plans for 2024. You can expect to see current initiatives evolve and grow, as well as bold new ideas come to fruition. We look forward to announcing some impressive partnerships, interacting with more people, and widening our impact into new areas.
