Africell is pleased to announce that it will be telecommunications partner and emerald sponsor for the 2025 U.S.-Africa Business Summit, scheduled to be held in Luanda, Angola, between 22 – 25 June 2025.

The summit, which will be co-hosted by the Corporate Council on Africa and the government of Angola, is expected to bring together more than 1,500 delegates including African presidents, heads of government and ministers, senior U.S. Government officials and leaders from U.S. and African companies. The 2025 Summit sessions will cover the full range of opportunities to expand U.S.-Africa trade, investment and business relations.

Africell is the only U.S.-owned mobile network operator in Africa, and one of the two main telecommunications brands in Angola. Africell CEO and President, Ziad Dalloul, is also a board member of the Corporate Council on Africa.

“The 2025 U.S.-Africa Business Summit is an opportunity to witness the new model of U.S.-Africa relations,” he said. “Investment and trade are at the forefront, with aid and assistance taking a back seat. Africell is proud to be a living and breathing example of successful American private sector investment in Africa’s technology sector, and we look forward to using the Summit as a platform to inspire and attract more such investment”.

Delegates to the Summit are invited to visit Africell’s booth on Luanda’s picturesque Marginal. The second edition of the Africell Luanda Art Fair commences on 25 June, immediately after the conclusion of the summit, and runs until 28 June.
