Africell has launched ‘Jerejeff’, a groundbreaking loyalty initiative designed to reward its most loyal subscribers in The Gambia.

Named after the Wolof word meaning “thank you,” Jerejeff allows users to earn points through every recharge and AfriMoney transaction. These points can be redeemed for free mobile data and voice bundles — while also increasing the customer’s chances of winning one of two luxury homes valued collectively at 13 million dalasi as part of Africell’s flagship Nekal Borom Kerr campaign.
“With Jerejeff, we’re acknowledging our customers’ role in our journey,” said Hussein Diab Ghanem, CEO of Africell Gambia. “It’s about transforming routine behaviours — like topping up or using AfriMoney — into meaningful rewards and even life-changing possibilities.”
To ensure clarity and ease of use, Jerejeff is being rolled out in phases. The initial phase centres on reward redemption for data and voice, with points continuing to count toward the grand prize draw set for December 2025. Customers can track their balance, explore offers, and redeem points by dialling *772#.
The next stage of the campaign will introduce a tiered rewards system, designed to offer even more value to frequent users. Full details of this structure will be announced in the coming weeks.
Through Jerejeff, Africell hopes to strengthen its long-standing brand promise: to provide more than just connectivity — offering real value, shared growth, and gratitude for the community it serves.
