Africell has officially launched Africell Business, a dedicated enterprise platform designed to equip organisations of all sizes with the digital infrastructure, connectivity and support required to scale confidently in an increasingly digital economy.
Gala events in Africell’s operating markets convened senior representatives of government, business, development institutions and the diplomatic community, underscoring Africell’s expanding role as a strategic partner in national digital transformation agendas.
In Sierra Leone, keynote remarks were delivered by Chernor Bah, Minister of Information and Civic Education; Salima M. Bah, Minister of Communication, Technology & Innovation; and David Moinina Sengeh, Chief Minister. In The Gambia, speakers included Abdulie Baks Touray, Chairman of Sahel Investment Group, and Ismaila Ceesay, Minister of Information and Media Broadcasting. In Angola, Pedro Godinho, Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Angola, addressed attendees. Their participation reflected strong public–private agreement around the role of resilient digital infrastructure in driving economic growth, competitiveness, and job creation.
“With Africell Business, we are transforming from traditional telecommunications provider into a holistic strategic partner for digital growth,” said Benjamin Okoro, Head of Africell Business (pictured above left). “Our clients can expect personalised support, more responsiveness, and platforms designed to make managing their corporate services simple and intuitive, and that is what we are giving them.”
Africell Business consolidates Africell’s enterprise capabilities under a single, focused brand. The platform delivers scalable solutions including advanced 4G and 5G business data services, fiber connectivity, fixed and dedicated internet, VPN and APN solutions, postpaid corporate plans and bulk messaging services. These offerings are supported by dedicated local account management and technical teams to ensure reliability, responsiveness and tailored enterprise support.
Beyond connectivity, the Africell Business launch campaign introduced several strategic initiatives aimed at deepening engagement with the business community. Africell Business Heritage, a new editorial publication, will spotlight enterprise innovation and client success stories, while the Africell Business Heritage Mark will recognise local businesses contributing meaningfully to innovation, employment and community development.
