More than 3,000 people joined the Africell Colour Run 2026 for a morning of running, competition and colour, with Africell employees taking part alongside customers and members of the public.
Runners chose between 5 km and 10 km routes, with podium places awarded in the 10 km race. Alongside the general classification, a separate ranking recognised Africell employees, who ran side by side with federated athletes and first-time runners.
Preparations began weeks earlier with activations and promotion across the city. On race day, Africell teams were stationed along the route, supporting participants all the way to the finish line and the medal presentation.
The event was organised by Tchaco Sports, with the support of the Angolan Athletics Federation, the Luanda Provincial Athletics Association, and the Municipal Administrations of Luanda and Ingombota.
