Africell’s fast, reliable and affordable mobile services are now available to millions more Angolan consumers.
Africell has launched services in the Angolan Province of Huambo. With a population of more than two million people, Huambo is a strategically important province in the middle of the country, encompassing part of the wider ‘Planalto’ region and home to the country’s second biggest city.
Having already rolled out into provinces including Luanda, Benguela and Huíla, Africell’s latest expansion extends its footprint further across the country of thirty million people, representing serious progress towards Africell’s ultimate mission to provide direct coverage to most Angolans.
In addition to core data, voice and SMS services, mobile money services will be available to customers in Huambo through Afrimoney, Africell’s mobile money platform.
