The Africell Sunshine Legends Tour 2026 has begun in Luanda, with football and basketball clinics organised in partnership with top Angolan football club Petro de Luanda.
The opening event brought together 100 young athletes from Petro de Luanda’s Under-10 to Under-16 categories for a day of learning, sharing and inspiration, on and off the field.
Leading sporting figures including Yanick Moreira, Gerson Domingos, Baduna, Victor de Carvalho and Maya worked directly with the young athletes, passing on technical knowledge and values that matter just as much as skill: discipline, commitment and team spirit.
The clinics set the tone for the tour ahead: bringing generations together, inspiring emerging talent, and using sport as a driver of social transformation in Angola.
The Sunshine Legends Tour reflects Africell’s wider commitment to youth development and community impact in Angola, using the reach of sport combined with mobile technology to create opportunities for the next generation.
