Africell is leading a digital transformation in Angola. Everything we do is geared towards driving innovation and introducing a new generation of mobile technology products and services.
We were awarded a national telecommunications license in Angola in February 2021, activated the network in December 2021, and officially launched services in April 2022. The first new or independent operator in over two decades, Africell brings something unique to the Angolan market; affordable access to good quality mobile devices; a fast and reliable network built with secure and trustworthy equipment; and a transparent and creative culture.
Our entry into the Angolan telecoms sector gives consumers more choice, better prices and higher quality services. Angola is full of energy and ideas and Africell is excited to partner with Angolans on their journey to the future.
